Education

I received my Bachelour of Education (with Distinction) in 2002, and my Bachelour of Arts Honours with Distinction in 2009, where I majored in drama. I am also certified by the Ontario College of Teachers, and by TESOL Canada to offer instruction in English as a second language.

Experience

I have two years of experience teaching English for Academic Purposes at the International Language Academy of Canada. I also have experience tutoring foreign students on their English proficiency to improve their results on the TOEFL and IELTS exams. Since 2003, I have been teaching public speaking to both elementary and secondary school students in Richmond Hill. I have also been a freelance tutor since 2009 with elementary, secondary, post-secondary. and adult students of various ages, nationalities, and English levels. My primary focus is on tutoring students in the English language, either for secondary school or middle school, including creative writing, essay writing, and more. I also tutor in art and study skills.
